Overall description

A school in Bristol has thousands of pieces of school uniform to donate. The attached spreadsheet gives detail as to quantity, quality (new or second hand) and photographs to show styles. It also includes whether the items are branded with the school logo or generic. Everything is packed into boxes, laundry bags and school gym bags. The school would like the clothing to be collected as soon as possible. They can arrange for delivery to an address local to Bristol, otherwise the receiving NGO will need to arrange collection for delivery to other locations. The clothing must leave the UK.

    Charles Storer MBE says: Hello. 'Hope and Aid Direct' delivers humanitarian aid to refugees and extremely vulnerable people across Europe and farther afield. We continue to respond very significantly to the Ukraine refugee and displaced people emergency, and we have trusted partner charities both inside Ukraine, and in surrounding countries. We have our own trucks, but we also have established links with the transport industry. We have over twenty-eight years of experience in aid shipment and distribution across Europe.
    All types of clothing including school clothing is very much needed in Ukraine for obvious reasons. The war has destroyed many schools and their equipment, and good new and used school uniforms / clothing is needed. We would send these straight out to our partner charity in Kyiv from where distributions are made to all the worst war affected areas of Ukraine or to schools that are teaching children from the war zone areas. (Our next shipment is scheduled for 11th December, and then early January next year).
