Emergency relief for flood victims in Kenya
Requested by
Sheikkh Ndeda KisanyaWho are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
We are helping the victims of the current heavy rains in Kenya.
Homes, crops and animals have been washed away by rains.
The people are being relocated to safer grounds without housing, food, clean water or medicine for the flood victims.
We have 30,000 people displaced.
We raised US$20,000 from friends, sponsors and well wishers. Thanks to this money, we have been able to provide food, shelter, clothing and medicines.
The funds are now exhausted and are appealing for more funds to help the people in need.
The number of people escaping floods has continued to rise as the rain continue to ponder different parts of the country. At the moment it stands at 100,000 people.
What is your project and how will it help?
Food, housing, cloth, medicines and clean water for the victims in NYANZA and TANA RIVER provinces of Kenya.
How can other people partner with you on your project?
By sending the items required so that we can distribute them to the affected families.
Please detail the resources that you need.
