Help to finish library in Bangladesh

Requested by

Masud Parves Library

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

We are aiming to set up a modern library in a village in Bangladesh. This will help students, young people and villagers.

There is a lack of books in our village, which helps to fuel the school drop out rate.

What is your project and how will it help?

Name of the project: Masud Parves Library.

The library intends to appoint a librarian-teacher who will be responsible for helping lthe earning process of students unable to afford private tuition.

The library will be equipped with computers and an internet connection, opening the world of knowledge to the students.

The library will spur academic competition among the students, nurturing the aim of becoming a committee member for the library. This committee will decide the future activities of the library and will be responsible for implementing all the library activities. This way, leadership capabilities will grow in students from their childhood.

The library will also be used as a shelter during emergencies in this region.

Further details can be found in the attached document.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

- Through funding the library

- Sending education materials to the library

- Sending office stationary and decoration materials

- Any kind of contribution to sustain the library

Please detail the resources that you need.
