The Anti Domestic Violence Coalition (ADVC) is an NGO in Uganda. The organisation aims to highlight issues surrounding domestic violence by helping couples reconcile and by providing counselling to victims. The organisation runs a temporary shelter for people affected by domestic violence, and lobbies for the passing of the domestic relations bill. The Coalition has created a play highlighting issues around domestic violence which is performed in local communities to aid sensitation and awareness, and aims to runs entrepreneurship training for women to help them break the cycle of dependence.
