Angel's Centre for Children with Special Needs

Angel’s Centre for Children with Special Needs is an NGO in Uganda. The centre provides provide a range of services for children with special needs and their families, in particular, strengthening the capacity of families to cope with raising children with development challenges. The Centre focuses on the provision of early learning for children with special needs; the provision of occupational and physiotherapy services; counselling and guidance for parents; access to health care, nutrition and income generation for households where there are children with special needs.
Angel’s Center for Children with Special Needs is a one stop center that provides a range of services for children with disability. The center is legally registered as a community based organization (WCBO/1131/12) and works together with support groups to share experience and to reach out to families that need guidance. The center has over 12 children (8 males and 4 females) who attend daily early learning and day care services. We also have 5 children who come twice a week to receive occupational therapy services. Angel’s center believes in a Society which integrates children with special needs to fully realize their potentials.
