Praramva, a non-profit making, non-governmental organization registered in Social Welfare Act 2049 ( Nepalese calendar ), was established in 2012. Praramva is situated at Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. Praramva is a non-political social organization established with a motive of Social Welfare. Praramva was founded by Kalpana Chhetry, who is also the President of the Organization and Nepal representative of Singapore Red Cross Society.
There are numbers of organizations like Praramva in Nepal. But here Praramva has aimed at encompassing education, health and agricultural aspect at a time. As a philanthropic institution, they intend to work in the sector of education, health, agriculture, tourism, skills and culture, and communication and technology. They aspire to fill the gaps in government services and achieve small-scale change in grass-root levels. Moreover, it aims to help impoverished people develop a clearer understanding of the social, political and economic factors affecting their lives, and to strengthen their awareness of their own potential power through life skill trainings.

Objectives:

• To help organize programs necessary to eradicate inhuman acts such as human trafficking
• To provide urgent relief and health services
• To discourage dropout rate, discard unsociability
• To organize free health camps in various places and free health check-ups in the remote identified area
• To help advocate for old aged people, manage accommodation, appropriate health services
• To organize programs for disadvantaged and marginalized groups
• To fight against gender biasness along with women empowerment
• To demotivate child abuse and child labor
• T o support those on domestic violence and sexually abused
• To help those affected by natural calamities and wars
