Resource Hub for Development (R.H.D) is an NGO that aims to alleviate poverty and empower poor rural communities through economic and social programmes. The organisation currently carries out projects in health care, water and sanitation, education, agriculture, environmental management and energy conservation, housing and settlement, HIV/AIDS, information, micro-finance, relief, youth empowerment, peace building, population and welfare.

In regard to health, R.H.D focuses on helping to reduce the maternal and child mortality rate, and to stop the spread of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB. RHD builds health centres and provides affordable and accessible health care facilities. In addition, RHD also counsels and sensitizes people living with AIDS.

RHD provides seeds, fertilizer and other support for agriculture, helps to build schools and provides bursaries to poor children. Other activities include tree planting, digging wells and teaching hygiene.
