St Vianney Junior School is an orphans school located at Nangabo Sub-county in Wakiso district, Uganda. The school cares for 248 orphans by providing them free primary education, free lunch meals and medical care. Ther are 56 ophans residing in the school dormitories. They have no families to cater for them. The school is community-founded, operating under St Vianney Junior School Parents Association. The association consists of 126 registered members who form a general assembly that sits annually to formulate policies and make decisions. The policies and decisions are then implemented by a Board of Directoirs of 9 members and a School Management Committee of seven memmbers who manage the school. The 126 members are responsible for raising money to support the school operantions and developing the infrastructures through seeking sponsors and making personal contributions. The school does not get any aid from central or local governments.
