Pastoral Relief Development Association (PARDA) is a nonprofit making, national non-governmental organization (NGO), secular humanitarian and development local non-governmental organization. It was founded and first time registered on 20th June, 2005 for pure humanitarian purposes. PARDA is accredited and re-registered with the charities and society agency proclamation no: 621/2009 vide certificate no: 3865 on October 19, 2017.
The organization was formed by a group of local community elites who are multi professionals and of all gender in order to spell the right developmental techniques which could transform and redefine the lives of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the population and create a better living conditions as well as putting in place a conducive environment so as to reduce those viscous cycle of poverty that come as a result of man-made and natural disasters.

PARDA, formation is mooted so as to deliver efficient, deeper and broader approaches to community based developmental initiatives that is committed to eradicate poverty. PARDA addresses the challenges through a defined bottom-up participatory appraisals and set out an overall approaches and strategies in achieving a sustainable community, humanitarian and developmental targets in a clear transparent, focused manner while deliberating with both community, support partners, the governmental relevant authorities and other relevant actors in achieving the objectives for the vulnerable population.
