Help to People with Down Syndrome in South Africa

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

Persons living with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in South Africa.

- to improve and elevate independence, education, health, transport
- to ascertain potential and capabilities
- to teach various skills in art work, music, dancing, respect etc

What is your project and how will it help?

Our project is an Outreach and early intervention as well as to have available a mobile toy library.

We also provide early childhood development and parent guidance programmes, support group meetings, counselling, training courses, referral service to families of / individuals with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in previous disadvantaged and rural communities.

This request aims at raising awareness on Down Syndrome and providing access to our Mobile Toy Library.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

The Associations is a Member of The Western Cape Network on Disabilities comprising of seventy chapters.

Other people can partner with by providing funding. You may also contact us to find other ways to partner with us.
