Women’s health and education for children in Niger

Requested by

Promotion de l'assistance Humanitaire Islamic (PAHI)

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

We are trying to help children who did not have opportunity to go to school, especially the Muslim children who have not been part of the formal education system. If these children do not get education, they will remain poor for the rest of their lives.

Our organisation also works for improving the health among women and improve food security.

Our region is very sensitive when it comes to the climate changing and we are already experiencing difficult droughts. Our project is also about adapting to the new conditions as well as protecting the environment.

What is your project and how will it help?

One project is mainly about bringing education to the Muslim children in our community.

The second project is to fight for women’s health. We have a special focus on Pelvic organ prolapsed or "prolapsus du col de l’utérus” (French).

How can other people partner with you on your project?

People can partner with us by providing funding.

We also work closely with the local government during this project.

Please detail the resources that you need.
