LifeCare Ghana (LIFECARE) is an NGO that works for underserved women and children in the areas of education, human rights, food security, environment, and water and sanitation. LIFECARE has trained 15 women’s groups in group dynamics, soap making, pomade production, rabbit rearing and small business management; conducted advocacy on girl child education; facilitated the enrollment of school drop-outs into schools; trained women and persons with disabilities in participatory governance, lobbying and advocacy skills and income generating activities; and trained and sensitized communities on care and support for persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
