Inspired by the desire to make significant changes in the lives of communities affected by poverty and disaster, RECORD facilitates community development in Kamwenge District through rights-based empowerment for sustainable development.

RECORDUG is dedicated to working against poverty, promoting justice, defending human rights, promoting environmental conservation, facilitate community empowerment and self-reliance. Above all, RECORDUG is committed to building people’s capacity and competence to positively change their lives.

​Since its incorporation in April 2019, RECORD has been operating in the three thematic areas:-

Mental Health and Psycho-social Support(MHPSS).

Conflict Sensitive Programming and Operation.

Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction(Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation and Eco-systems Management and Restoration.
