Pro-Ex-Co Learning Academy is a non profit Organisation established on the 02 February 2018. The organisation is located at Rikhotso village in ward 04 of Greater Tzaneen Municipality in Mopani District Limpopo Province. Even though the village is one of the biggest in population size has only one primary school and does not have high school, but smaller communities have both primary and secondary or high schools.

The main focus of this Organisation is to take children out of street and gangsterism by keeping them busy through assigning them with their school homework, teaching them to write, read and speak English including their home languages which are Xitsonga and Sepedi.

-To motivate children to develop the desire for learning.
-To assist children to realise their pontential in education.
-To provide support for the educational needs of children.
-To provide social and life skills.
-To provide healthcare services in collaboration with stakeholders such as local health cliniic e.g. HIV and AIDS.

Since the organisation was established in Februuary 2018, there is a great reduction of gang criminal activities in the community. House breaking and the abuse of alcohol by children has gone down. Chilldren are no longer lingering around the stret but are kept busy by attending after school classes. Parents around the community has welcomed the initiative and have acknowledged a positive impact which this organisation is making in the life of their childrenand the entire community. The organisation also assisted parents to get more involved in their children’s learning. The schools which these children are attending have notice great improvement in the learning of thesee children and have remarked in their school activities.
