The Phinda Foundation for Community Development is a Malawian NGO that aims to provide and promote voluntary counselling and testing for HIV/AIDS and to encourage HIV positive people to sign up for treatment and counselling, while encouraging others to avoid behaviour leading to HIV. The Foundation cares for orphans and has built a child care centre, established several income-generating projects and supported 20 children to complete their secondary education. The Foundation also provides care and food for over 360 children daily, and provides vocational training.
