Umoja wa wawezeshaji KIOO is a Tanzanian NGO that works for vulnerable children and on other social welfare issues. The organization also advocates for women’s rights (to own land and other property) and for better education for rural children. KIOO provides training on health issues, good governance and accountability.

Currently, KIOO is involved in a civic education programme against corruption and an HIV/AIDS prevention programme. The organization also runs an education and vocational training centre for vulnerable children from the region. To date, there are 56 children at the centre on various courses and life skills programmes, including computer training, tailoring, carpentry and secondary education.
