The German Marshall Fund promotes cooperation and networking between the United States, Western Europe, and the newly democratic countries of Central and Eastern Europe in the areas of political, economic, and environmental reforms. Grants are made within the economics, environment, and foreign policy programme areas, and are directed from the Fund’s Bratislava office.
