Rwenzori Mountains Baghuma Integrated Association (RAMBIA) is an indigenous Non-Governmental service providing organization based in Bunyangabu District in western Uganda.

Since its inception in 1994, Rambia has been tirelessly active among chronically poor local communities with focus on integrated Health and sanitation, natural resource management, agricultural production, orphanage care program where an orphanage care Nursery and Primary school has been created.

Beekeeping, HIV/AIDS counseling, testing has been provided, ART/EID, ANC services, immunization services, in and out patient’s services have been offered to community members.

In the last three years Rambia has constructed a health centre III, with a staff house, an incinerator, placenta pit, ART/immunization hall, installed a water tank to the maternity ward, connected gravity water system to both buildings, initiated an orphanage care Nursery and Primary school with kindergarten, procured land for an orphanage centre, constructed a shelter for a poultry keeping project, procured school furniture, text books for orphans and vulnerable children, renovated an outpatient and maternity ward(RAMBIA Community Medical Centre), In addition in the last three years, RAMBIA has managed to install solar panels to both buildings for the better service delivery to patients by providing light and running other simple Medical appliances.

In 2012 a Five year development plan was made with support from Canadian Volunteers. This five year plan has different sectors which include:

i) Agriculture
ii) Health and sanitation
iii) Environment sector
iv) culture
v) Education

Among others. The plan was made to improve community livelihood conditions. This plan was made closely with community beneficiaries in designing and implementing processes aimed at social economic improvement, enhance self-reliance, environmental improvement creating partnership with other institutions.
