The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) was created by the UN to promote women’s human rights, political participation and economic security. UNIFEM provides funding for activities to eliminate violence against women through its “Trust Fund in Support of Actions to Eliminate Violence Against Women”. Application guidelines are on the website. Additional funding may be obtained through regional offices and requirements are specified by the regional program advisors for the region in which the requesting organisation operates.
