Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
The project will focus on helping unemployed young people in Northern Uganda especially in the Amuru district. The project will be about developing livelihoods and self reliance focusing mainly on young people and child- headed households.
What is your project and how will it help?
The main goal is the provision of the following services:
engaging young people in productive activities such as farming, formation of saving and credit groups, formation of youth foot ball clubs in the community, encouraging young people to practise income generating activities, sensitizing young people to the danger of HIV/AIDS, encouraging young people to start rebuilding their lost culture, and empowering youtng people to practise agro- forestry so that the climate is modified and this will be inform of trees planting, reducing the rate at which trees are destroyed.
How can other people partner with you on your project?
Other people will partner through provision of resources which will help the project’s sustainability.
Please detail the resources that you need.
The resources needed may include motorcycles which will facilitate extension services. Budget will be provided later.
