Funding partner needed to support vulnerable children and youth in the slums of Kisumu, Kenya
Requested by
Bread Without Border Orphans Support ProjectWho are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
Bread without border is working with the most disadvantaged children and youth within the informal settlements where 65% of the residents live on below $1 a day. It is impossible for them to access basic human needs and it led children and youth to child labour, child prostitution, high rate of teenage pregnancy and school dropping out and increasing number of street children.
Bread without border is currently running a non-formal school in the slums to provide care and education for the disadvantaged children. We provide food and clothing, learning materials, training materials as well as construct training centers in the slums.
Sponsoring bright children who want to continue studying requires consistent funding. Thus, we are looking for donors who are willing to support our children and any of activities mentioned above.
