Shipping company wanted to help transport a donation to Ghana

Requested by

The Turing Trust

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

The Turing Trust has several items that need to be shipped to Ghana, any port, where they can be picked up by one of the Trust’s representatives in Ghana. Currently the items needing to be shipped are; 2 laptop computers, 15 textbooks, 85 blazers, 335 jumpers, approx 400 ties, 30 track-suits and 30 polo tops. Once the goods have arrived in Ghana they will be donated to current students and used to advertise the non-governmental ICCES schools and encourage more unemployed youths in rural communities to join their nearest ICCES. The ties will be used to encourage academic excellence being awarded as prizes at the end of terms.
Any help with shipping some of these items would be greatly appreciated.

    Paul Reynolds says: HI
We may well be able to help you with the organisation of and shipping of the items.

Mercy Logistics exists to help organisations like yourselves seeking to fight poverty in the developing world - by organising shipping and reducing those shipping costs through the preferential prices we get from our shipping partners.

We'd be delighted to help if we can - please contact us using the details from GH.
