Advocacy for the most vulnerable individuals

Requested by

Pepople's Welfare and Development

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

The People’s Welfare and Development is running 27 orphaned children’s day care centers in and around Pretoria City in the Republic of South Africa. A total of 600 children who lost their parents as a result of HIV/AIDS are the major beneficiaries of this project.

The organisation require a vehicle for use in charity work. (A used or new Mercedes Benz-22 seater (half bus) for volunteer transportation while delivering supplies to the care centres is appropriate.

The vehicle will also be used to drop children who come from a distance of more than 2 kilometers to and from the care centres.

The type of activities we are involved in are:
1- Daily Food parcel deliveries to the care centres
2- Monthly Medical care
3- Clothing and toiletries
4- Early Childhood development and Training

Children’s aftercare program is also underway. But this will depend on availability of funding.
