Conflict Resolution by Youth (CRY)–Uganda is an NGO founded by young people for young people. CRY Uganda works to build and enhance the capacity of young people and children to improve their livelihoods nand to manage conflict. CRY also advocates for issues affecting young people and

develops and nurtures young leaders for non violence, peace and development.

CRY’s activities are implemented through peace clubs in secondary and tertiary institutions and through cultural events (music and theatre in particular). Current activities include debating, capacity-building and consultancy; non-violent conflict resolution, management training and education programmes, cross-cultural and cross-border youth co-operation and, exchanges, peace research, HIV/AIDS and peacebuilding, music/theatre for peace and creative traditional psychosocial programmes
