Nepal Humanitarian Customs Regulations
This document was submitted in response to a questionnaire distributed by Global Hand regarding humanitarian customs information. It provides regulations for importing humanitarian aid into Nepal.
Tax Exemption
Nepal has no special legal provisions regarding duty relief for humanitarian consignments. Customs duties and value added tax can be exempted on a case-by-case basis, by the Ministry of Finance, His Majesty’s Government of Nepal.
Pre-Shipment Application
Prior from the Minstry of Finance approval is required.
