PIDP KIVU is an organisation defending the rights of the pygmies peoples in Republic Democratic of the Congo. It has been created by and for the pygmies to deal with their socioeconomic, marginalised and human rights issues they face in Kivu. The PIDP Kivu is the first and oldest organization of indigenous pygmy Kivu in eastern DR Congo, with more than 60,000 indigenous. It works with permission from the Ministry of Justice and Keeper of the Seals under the registration number F92 / 2,918.

The areas of intervention of the PIDP KIVU are:
- Health (Wash, HIV / AIDS, Malaria and SRH)
- Education of vulnerable children and other vulnerable Pygmies
- Literacy
- Food Security
- Crafts (promotion of Pygmy culture, pottery etc.
- Environmental protection and biodiversity
- Defence and promotion of human rights
- Fight against violence based on gender
- Council on sexual violence of women and girls
- Evangelization of indigenous pygmies on the good news “Word of God”
- Emergency humanitarian aid.

PIDP KIVU est une organisation de défense des droits des peuples autochtones pygmées en République Démocratique du Congo. Elle a été créée par et pour par et pour les autochtones pygmées pour faire face aux problèmes socioéconomiques, de marginalisation, de violation des droits humains dont ils sont souvent victimes au Kivu. Le PIDP KIVU est la première et ancienne organisation autochtone pygmée du Kivu à l’Est de la RDC, regroupant plus de 60 000 autochtones pygmées. Fonctionnant avec l’autorisation du ministère de la justice et garde de sceau à Kinshasa sous le numéro d’enregistrement F92/2918.

Les domaines d’interventions du PIDP KIVU sont les suivantes :
- Santé (Wash, VIH/SIDA, Malaria et la santé sexuelle et reproductive)
- Education des enfants pygmées vulnérables et autres vulnérables

- Conseil sur les violences sexuelles des femmes et filles
- Evangélisation des autochtones pygmées sur la bonne nouvelle « Parole de Dieu »
