Laverna children’s home and primary school is a registered non-profit community oriented development organization with over six years experience in child development situated in Donyo sabuk Kiboko Location, Matungulu District Machakos County in Kenya. The organization was established in 2005 and is a key player in Child Rights Protection and development initiatives targeting to support interventions that will reduce child suffering and alleviate poverty through Socio-Economic Development Programme. The organization is implementing a Child Centred Community Development (CCCD) Model that brings together 16 parents support groups for Socio-Economic Development purposes putting the child at the center of development. It is through child, that we seek to empower parents support groups for sustainability purposes.

Laverna has a Governing board 19 members with its head office in Donyo Sabuk near Fourteen falls and Donyo Sabuk National Park.the organisation has 19 qualified and hard working staff , and good management in place. Laverna has 25 acres of land that all the operations are carried on.
