Western Union, the leading money transfer service around the globe, has just recently partnered with Mercy Corps to increase financial literacy for families and individuals in some of the world’s poorest countries. “Our World, Our Family” is the five-year, $50 million program that Western Union and Mercy Corps have created to provide tools and resources that aims to help individuals and communities become more financially self-sustainable.

The program will focus on four countries, Guatemala, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, and the U.S.
