Jermit Papyrus Group is a company that makes hand-painted cards, bookmarks and other art on authentic Egyptian papyrus. The company aims to generate work for unemployed young people in the Upper Egyptian town of Mallawi, located approximately 300 km south of Cairo.

Jermit Papyrys employs 42 workers, 13 men and 29 women, all of whom are young Christians living in Mallawi, a regional capital in Upper Egypt where good employment opportunities are particularly hard to find.
