Veolia Foundation assists Moroccan children with disabilities to attend school with their peers
The Veolia Foundation, a French environmental organisation, has provided financial assistance to Pinocchio, a Moroccan NGO established to assist the integration of children with physical and other disabilities into mainstream education.
Pinocchio has a particular interest in children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities who need specialised equipment in order to cope with school. The grant from the Foundation will enable the NGO to purchase several verticalizers, trampolines, adjustable basketball hoops, etc.; also boards, ping pong tables and structures for the youngest (slides, tunnels).
The equipment will assist 50 children to attend school in newly created special classes in mainstream schools.
