Cargill provided aid to those suffering from the earthquake in Haiti

In 2010, as a global food company, Cargill worked with its nonprofit partners to provide aid on the ground to help in Haiti after the earthquake.

Cargill responded to the devastating earthquake in Haiti by donating an initial corporate donation of $50,000 that was directed to long-time Cargill partners CARE and the World Food Programme. At its headquarters facility, Cargill volunteers packaged 20,000 meals on Jan. 18 for the nonprofit Kids Against Hunger, which was sent directly to Haiti. In February, Cargill volunteers packaged an additional 30,000 meals.
