Family Caregivers Association for the Aged Group (FCAAG) Verified non-profit organisation
    (Verified non-profit organisation)

Family Caregivers Association for the Aged Group says: Dearest in the Lord!

I hope this message finds you and your colleagues at Smart City Hostel doing well.

Family Caregivers Association for the Aged Group (FCAAG) is a local NGO which was formed and registered with the National NGO Board in Uganda. We joined Global Hands as a member in 2008.

FCAAG was formed with a sole aim to address the increasing needs of older persons and vulnerable children in Lira and Apac Districts, located in Northern Uganda. The people in Northern Uganda has been affected by the 23 year - old conflict between the Uganda Government Forces and the Rebels of the Lord Registance Army (LRA). The conflict have brought about death, human suffering and banderlised properties. The most affected people are the Aged, children and women.

People have gone back to their respective localities without basic needs such as clothing, food items, medical care, beedings and educational kits.

We are therefore, requesting your organisation to consider sending those mattresses to these group of people in our community.

We shall be more than happy to hear from you soonest possible.

    Thank you,

    John Alfred Ejura
    Information & Networking Officer
