Computers for Kids (C4K) is a local NGO based in Virginia, USA. The organisation offers an afterschool technology mentoring programme for disadvantaged young people who are taught to use computers in a supportive environment. On completion of the course, the young people are given their own refurbished computers to use at home, together with one year’s free internet access.
