Association Emmaüs provides for the social integration and housing of certain categories of people in difficulty, such as AIDs sufferers, young people, and squatters. To help finance the programme, clients participate in a project centred on the collecting, sorting, repairing, and selling of second hand goods. The Association operates out of 47 sites in Paris and the surrounding area. It provides meals, emergency shelter, and medical consultations. It accepts donations of household items.
