Save the Children (SCF) is an international voluntary agency working for the rights of children worldwide. In Bolivia, SCF aims to achieve lasting benefits for children within the communities in which they live by influencing policy and practice based on its experience and study in different parts of the world. Save the Children works on programs in education, emergency relief, food security, youth, newborn health, school health and nutrition, and water and sanitation. Other programs include the introduction of physical activity and sports as tools to approach topics of sexual and reproductive health. Save the Children is also working with teenage mothers to provide psychological and social support that can help them overcome the challenges of their new situation.
