The Malkia Foundation is a Kenyan NGO that aims to empower young women to improve their lives through education. The Foundation helps young dropouts who are willing to go back to school by providing bursaries and/or school fees and by providing information and advice about sexual matters and individual rights. The Foundation also provides training for young mothers to help them develop small businesses. Currently, there 327 girls in school and 570 women are being trained in a range of skills.
