The Association of Food, Nutrition & Dietetics (AFND) is an Indian NGO that aims to encourage the interlinking of food, nutrition and public health in order to promote optimal health for all. The Association also aims to promote greater transparency and collaboration between individuals associated with the food industry and the study of nutrition to promote healthier lives through the right dietary practices.
The Association undertakes action research, collects facts and evidences, creates and standardizes questionnaires, tracking tools and screening programmes to capture actual scenarios. In addition, the Association networks with other agencies to improve health & nutritional standards, encourages exchange of information and research into matters related to health.
