Allianz partners with the WorldWide Fund For Nature

Since September 2007, Allianz has been cooperating with WWF on a firm three-year master agreement. One of the main goals of this collaboration is to precisely quantify not just the direct effects, but also the indirect effects of climate change of the Allianz Group.

Allianz and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) have launched CEO2: a climate-conscious game which offers a peep into the decision making world of the chief executive. The aim of the game is to reduce the organisation’s carbon emissions while still ensuring an increase in stock price, over a 20-years period. CEO2 shows the possible impacts of business decisions in the chemical, automobile, utility and finance industry over the next 20 year. Allianz and WWF hope that the free, easy-to-use game with its fun, interactive graphics will make climate issues more accessible for a broader public audience.
