Action Aid – China, a country office of the UK-based ActionAid, conducts policy research and puts forth advocacy work in the areas of natural resource management, rural finance, eco-agriculture, preservation of traditional knowledge, climate changes, and the impacts of trade and globalisation. ActionAid works alongside poor and marginalised communities to help them recognise, promote and secure their basic rights, enhance their control over development work, and their ability to defend their interests.
