World Vision is a Christian relief and development organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities in the fight against poverty and for social justice. World Vision has been working in Bolivia since 1983, and currently runs programmes in health care, education, environmental protection, emergency relief and disaster mitigation, advocacy, gender equality and micro-enterprise development. Social issues are promoted through a children’s parliament and a Youth Conference.
