Body Shop campaign 'Trafficking is torture' to support the Helen Bamber Foundation.

At least 4,000 women and girls are trafficked into the UK each year and forced into prostitution. Trafficking for sexual exploitation doesn’t just affect women, children are trafficked too. NOTE: this video contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing.

Before her sad death, Anita Roddick, Body Shop’s Founder, was actively involved in the campaign to stop this modern day slavery. The Body Shop is proud to carry on her work, and support the Helen Bamber Foundation.

The Helen Bamber Foundation works with survivors of genocide, torture, trafficking and rape who seek safety and refuge. They help the women and children they meet draw upon their inner resources, providing them with practical support and treatment to deal with their pasts and build new futures.
