International Youth Council Nigeria is a national chapter of the International Youth Council (IYC). The IYC is committed to youth leadership, empowerment, and global sustainable development, and assists young leaders in developing entrepreneurial projects and campaigns to support sustainable development projects on a local, regional, and international level.

The IYC also serves as the official network of the Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations.
