The Association of Survivors of Makobola Massacres (ARMMK) is an NGO in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Association focuses on developing inter-ethnic peaceful co-existence and conflict resolution at a grassroots level, and provides training to survivors of violence and people traumatised by war in order to build a society without murder or hatred. ARMMK focuses particularly on widows, children, orphans, and the vulnerable, training them in income generating activities in order to alleviate isolation and encourage socio-economic development.

The overall situation in a period of war During a period of war, the local communities constitute the most vulnerable group. 1° Physical - Children’s - Woman and Mans( More widows,widowrs and children orphans) - Gils. The people have to be educated to accept that solidarity and sympathies may characterize the spirit of these vulnerability communities and build a society without killing and violence. 2° Social and economic - High level of stress; - Tension - Instability; - Traumatism; - Poverty - Misery; 3° Security - Instability; - War; - Absence of Peace; - Violence and Killing 4° Environmental - abused and destroy the life conditions of local communities and health Public. - Expected result - Advocacy of global issues: To plead for vulnerable human being in front of national and international communities to help them for their regularly preoccupation in case of justice. -Pacific Coexistence in local communities; - Solidarity and Sympathies may characterize the sprit of these vulnerable communities and build a Society without killing and violence. - Caring and Sensibilization the orphans to build a sprit of oneness and solidarity among the population and involve them in income generating activities. - Move the victim of serious effects of war massacres and other serious violations of Human Rights to bury the hatchet of hate, revenge, lack of trust and understanding that a society without murder is possible. - Show that coexistence between Pacific populations of all communities is possible despite the unfortunate events that our country into mourning. - Bring these people to bear the torch of non-violence not Murder, that especially ones who have witnessed and experienced the moments of serious violence , they fall in to this new life with a change of behaviour and attitudes of people who understand that violence only kills. Thus, they must be a priest of peace. Indicators to measure: - Impunity ; - Poverty; - Misery; - Justice. Social : The DRC government builds for our ARMMK Members Survivors of Makobola Massacres a Public health centre and Maternity. The President KABILA KABANGE Joseph builds a hospital and Materials equipments for hospital for Survivors of Makobola Massacres.
