Radiant Cosmetics

Unverified non-profit organisation

Radiant Cosmetic is a social enterprise whose mission is to garner awareness for human trafficking by raising funds through cosmetics, to provide resources for those on the forefront of change as well as victims of trafficking.

Considering that the cosmetics industry generates $170 billion annually and women dominate this industry, and knowing that of the over 2 million human beings trafficked each year, 80% are women and girls, the founder of Radiant Cosmetic, Nicole Marret, wanted to awaken a generation of women to not sit back and allow this injustice to afflict women any longer.

The mission behind the makeup is to end human trafficking, and Radiant Cosmetics is raising awareness of the issue by organising art shows, awareness walks, fair trade events and conferences. Radiant Cosmetics also desires to infiltrate the beauty industry and further its cooperation with the fight against human trafficking.

As of now, Radiant Cosmetics gives 20% of its profits directly to Free the Captives, which is an interdenominational, evangelical anti human trafficking organization that desires to engage and mobilize the Christian community and partners with non-profits, law enforcement, and government agencies in the fight against modern day slavery.

Another crucial piece of partnership for Radiant Cosmetics is getting its customers involved. To that end, it shares details of each event Free The Captives hosts with its customers and encourages their participation.
