The Revolutionary Ideology of Voluntary Entrepreneurs and Realistics (RIVER)is an Indian NGO that works on health, environment, social, economic and cultural issues with and for marginalised communities in the slums of Kolkota. Major projects in which the organisation has been involved include awareness programmes around HIV/AIDS and polio eradication, human rights, the welfare of women and children, and education. RIVER has also carried out a survey of working children, run health clinics and is involved in an environmental programme with partners.
