Sustainable Action for Rural Sector (SARS) is an NGO in Uganda. The organisation works with a number of communities to address issues of sustainability and empowerment. The organisation runs programmes focussing on health, education, activities for young people (sport and drama), and training for women and young people in agricultural production.
SARS established the St George Hope Health Centre which is operated by the organisation. SARS also advocates on behalf of its client groups.

Serving and improving the conditions of the disadvantaged people in rural communities in order to foster economic and social transformation for authentic development.

ORGANIZATION’S LEGAL STATUS.
Local NGO registered by the district and by NGO Board S. 5914/7477 and also incorp no. 102043 SARS Uganda Ltd by grantee.
OBJECTIVES
SARS focuses mainly on rural health and medical care, education, Human rights and sustainable livelihood. Targeting mainly the most vulnerable people in the rural communities especially women, youth and children.
