Overall description

We have 20 tonnes of hair nets, feet covers and Nitrile gloves that we have baled into mill size bales. We have about 10 tonnes gloves and 10 tonnes of hair/feet covers baled. Some of these materials are new and some are used, but these are unsoiled and come from ‘clean’ room manufacture of medical filters – they have not been used in any surgical proceedures.
Wessex has been in business since 1987 and we are celebrating 25 years this year! We are confident that these materials will benefit someone, somewhere, who are less fortunate.

The gloves are Nitrile and manufactured in China. The hair nets are a mesh material that covers the head with an elastic band to hold in place on the forehead. The feet covers are from a similar mesh material and also have an elasticated band to hold in place on the ankle area once the foot is covered. Again, these have been used in 'clean' rooms and not in hospitals or surguries.
