Provision of Reproductive & Primary Healthcare Services to Flood Affected Women in District Muzaffargarh
Requested by
Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research [SAHER]Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research is currently working in the flood affected areas of southern Punjab (Multan, Muzaffargarh, D.G.Khan & Rajanpur).
Women are also very much affected by this flood considering they consist of the half of population and they don’t have adequate health facilities especially those who are not in the flood relief camps. These women are most vulnerable as they don’t benefit from the primary health care services in those affected areas.
We are planning to provide the mobile health camps on these targeted areas The following health care services will be provided;
- Antenatal/Postnatal Check ups
- Neonatal Check ups
- Primary Health Care Services
- T.T Vaccination to pregnant women
- Family Planning Services
We are in need of funding as well as medicines and other medical equipments.
Please read the attached concept paper document for further details
