Sawaed Association for Relief and Development (SARD) is a charitable organization working in the Gaza Strip. The association focuses on marginalized areas which lie to the east of Gaza City. The population of these areas is approximately 200.000, most of whom are unemployed. SARD
aims to serve people under siege, the unemployed and the poor focusing on development rather than charity, and on capacity building through training and education. SARD also provides relief to its clients and helps them to stay on the programme so that they become productive and able to depend on themselves.

The organisation is currently looking for funds to establish a child care centre in Gaza City.
