CHHASE (Community Health, Housing And Social Education) is a grassroots Indian NGO that serves the rural and tribal poor. CHHASE provides counselling, runs awareness and medical camps, helps to establish self-help groups, assists destitute women to access housing and food, and helps to educate poor children. The organisation is also involved in training people in income-generating activities and is working with people with HIV/AIDS. Target groups include the elderly, people with disabilities and children.
